SLFL May 21, 2025 Packing Event

On Packing Day we gather, sort all the community donations and pack those beautiful boxes to send to our local heroes. Our packing room is in the back of the building on the left at 101 Mission Drive in Slidell. All our faithful volunteers and the interested public are welcome to join in and help. After packing some of our volunteers will be going to Carretas Mexican Grill (137 Taos St, Slidell) for lunch. Lunch is open to any packing volunteer that would like to join in. All orders and costs are at the individual's expense. Carretas is a long time SLFL supporter with donating many gift cards over the years for raffle fundraisers. Continued thanks to Carretas management and staff for their support of not only SLFL but our deployed military men and women.

Individual packed cups of Microwave Mac & Cheese is the May item of the month. If you would like to pick up some Mac & Cheese for the troops you can bring it to packing or place it in one of our donation boxes located at businesses around town.
