The annual Sleaford 1940s Day event will be held on Saturday 28th June 2025, from 11.00am to 4.00pm.
This is a FREE TO ATTEND event
The event will be brought to you by Sleaford Town Council, in partnership with the William Alvey School and will be held in the school grounds.
This exciting, popular event promises to be a fantastic day for everyone! Bring your family and friends, chairs and a picnic and make a day of it!
On the day, there will be live music and dancing, horse carriage rides, air raid shelter tours, "Dig for Victory" plant and grow your own vegetables activities for children, re-enactments, demonstrations, static vintage vehicle displays, Punch and Judy shows, trade stalls, food and drink, vintage hair styling, face painting, animals, vintage games, bouncy castles, vintage children's fair ride and balloon modelling, plus more on the day! There will also be a 40s/vintage style best dressed competition in the three categories of best adult, child and family. Each winner in each category will win a special trophy.
