Liz Knowles at Seman Violins

Internationally known Irish fiddler Liz Knowles appears in a rare solo concert performance. This will be an evening of music played on two different fiddles! A fiddle by our own Peter Seman, and a modern hardanger by Salve Hakedal. Weaved in and around the music will be stories that illuminate her journey from classical music to traditional Irish music, the players who have influenced her most, and tunes that exemplify the magical process of living with melodies over a long period of time. She will be joined by special guest Pat Broaders on bouzouki.
