The Art of Indian Cooking: Flavor, Fire & Heart

Ready to spice up your cooking game? In this flavorful and interactive class, you’ll journey along the Spice Route and explore the rich culinary traditions of Indian cooking. With guidance from Meryl, you’ll learn how to build bold, comforting flavors from scratch using essential spices like cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, and more.



Together, we’ll prepare classic Indian dishes such as chicken curry, hearty lentil dal, or a roasted eggplant —perfect for sharing and easy to recreate at home. Along the way, you’ll gain confidence in layering spices, using aromatics, and balancing flavor, whether you’re a seasoned cook or new to Indian cuisine.



This class is all about slowing down, savoring the process, and celebrating the art of cooking with love and intention. Vegetarian-friendly options are available, and recipes will be provided so you can bring the magic home.



Students are encouraged to wear an apron, bring a water bottle, and come hungry to learn and taste. All ingredients and equipment are provided.
