Join us for our monthly cookbook club! November's book is Seasons of Greens by Katie Reicher and we will be meeting on Dec 6th 6-8pm at Sitka Mercantile!
Heres how it works: this is a no pressure, for fun meet up! There is no obligation to buy a physical copy of the book, you can download on kindle, take out from the library or share with a friend. Each month is a different book followed by a meet up on the 1st Saturday of the following month. The goal is to try out a recipe from the book once a week out of the month (so 4 recipes) BUT this is not mandatory! Even if you just do 1 recipe thats completely fine. The meetup is potluck style, with each person bringing a dish they made from the cookbook and we get to hang out, socialize and eat good food together.
The Cookbook Club: the cookbook club is partnering with Sitka Mercantile, in addition to our meetings being hosted at the shop after hours, any cooking supplies, ingredients or cookbooks used for the club will be 10% off for cookbook club members! Plus each time you join us for our potluck meet up you'll get a punch on your card and at the end of the season (our April meetup) we will raffle off a Mercantile goody bag of foodie/cooking related items.
So excited to get this up and running, prep for our Nov 1st meet up by getting your copy of Rooted Kitchen and start cooking some delicious dishes!
