Unlocking Creativity through Material Exploration

Join us for a workshop on sparking creativity through material exploration with Mychelle Moritz.

Time: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Location: Pine Meadow Ranch Center for Arts and Agriculture

In this workshop, Mychelle will lead participants through varied activities regarding the creative process. Mychelle will begin with a discussion that includes some of the challenges inherent to the creative process followed by diving into activities that explore the topic of mindfulness, managing one's expectations and how to be fully present. The goal of this workshop is for participants to leave with pockets full of inspiration and new ways of overcoming creative roadblocks.

Each activity in the workshop will create an opportunity to play and experiment with a variety of provided materials.

Participants are encouraged to bring extra materials to share, such as: fabric, yarns, threads, plant matter, clean recyclables (foil, paper, cardboard, etc.)

All other materials will be supplied.

For ages 16 and older. Those under age 16 may attend accompanied by an adult.

About the Instructor:

Mychelle Moritz is an interdisciplinary artist often working from a base of clay. She hopes to engage others to be curious and motivated to participate in new ways with the world around them. Mychelle has a MA degree in Art Therapy, and views creative expression as a way of advocating while also working through her own internal landscape.

- 50% refund for cancellations 7-14 days prior

- Full refunds will be provided if PMRCAA cancels the event due to inclement weather or if an instructor is unavailable.
