Come swim, bike, and run in this fun mini triathlon catered to kids and teenagers between 6 and 18 years of age. This special event is co-sponsored by Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each division. This event is meant for all levels, but all participants must know how to swim.

Ages 6 and 7 will swim 1 length of pool (33m), bike 1 full lap around park (.64 mile), run half mile
Ages 8 and 9 will swim 1.5 lengths of pool (50m), bike 2 full laps around park (1.3 miles), run half mile
Ages 10 and 11 will swim 2 lengths of pool (66m), bike 3 full laps around park (1.92 miles), run 1 mile
Ages 12 and 13 will swim 100 m, bike 4 full laps around park (2.5 miles), run 1 mile
Ages 14 to 18 will swim 200 m, bike 6 full laps around park (3.84 miles), run 1.5 miles

Registration Required: Early bird registration is $15, it runs until July 26th and will grant you an event t-shirt and a place in the Youth Triathlon. After July 26th, the registration fee will transition to $20 per participant and will not include and event t-shirt. As a reminder, packet pickup starts at 9 a.m., and all participants must be there by this time! Event starts at 10 a.m. on the dot.
Please bring: Your bike, helmet, swimsuit, towel, socks, and running shoes.
Vehicle parking and access: Use the Kuehn pool lot entrance to drop off participants and equipment. The Kuehn pool lot will be ADA parking only. Use Sioux Falls First Church lot at 41st Street and Kuehn Park Road or Kuehn Community Center lot at 2801 South Valley View Road. No parking in the Kuehn golf course parking lot!
Make sure to stick around after the event for the awards ceremony!
Premium Food and Beverage will have a drawing to win a brand-new bike for any registered participants. ERIK’s Bike Shop will also be on site to provide bike checks, minor tuning, and tire inflation prior to the race.
