Music, Food & Fun - Free - Open to the Public

A Celebration of Music, Food & Fun will be held in Terrace Park West (1215 W Madison St, SF) on Thursday, July 17 from 4:30 - 8pm.

Everyone is welcome to join us as the Mary Chilton Chapter, DAR commemorates our 110th Anniversary in service to the Sioux Falls community. This free family activity is our way of saying “Thank You” as we look forward to continuing our service to you - especially as we prepare for America’s 250th next year!

It begins at 4:30 with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony by the Chamber of Commerce and continues with free professional face painting, a balloon artist, bubble machine and other activities. The Great Plains Zoo Mobile will be on hand from 5-6 pm and the Sioux Falls Municipal Band will perform a concert beginning at 6:30.

Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic, or food may be purchased from Backyard BBQ and SDSU Ice Cream Food Trucks. Please bring blankets or lawn chairs and outdoor games, if desired.
