Let's Go Fly a Kite!

My dad's birthday was on May 19th. He passed away from Alzheimer's in 2021. I am excited to celebrate life doing what he loved <3

My dad loved kites and harnessing the wind. We spent many summer's living on our sailboat in the North Channel and the year he took our family to the Bahamas on our sailboat connected our family together in such a special way:)

He often brought up how special our family trip to Kitty Hawk was and we visited the Wright Brother museum and he purchased a kite on our last family trip before the winds of change (Meg and I went on trips abroad& college, I pursued my career, we both got married).

He seized the moment's and lived life by the spontaneous wind of the holy spirit.

Weather it is windy for kite flying or not it will be fun to gather and PLAY as my dad would <3
