For the Love of Shane MacGowan vividly evoked the great man’s soul and his voice, clearly showing the love those behind the tribute had for him.

John McLaughlin (hit songwriter, producer en zanger van Johnny Mac & The Faithful) brengt de nummers van zijn goede vriend en genie Shane MacGowan van The Pogues en The Popes tot leven met zijn 7-koppige band. Tijdens dit concert brengt Johnny naast klassiekers van MacGowan ook mooie herinneringen van hun tijd samen toen ze nummers schreven en opnamen en uiteraard ook verhalen uit de pub! Deze hommage is een viering van het leven en werk van een van de grootste artiesten aller tijden en wordt onderschreven door Shane’s vrouw, Victoria Mary Clarke. So, let’s all raise a glass to Shane MacGowan! Fiesta!
