After a well-received premiere at SIFA 2024, 𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘈𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦《等待观众》returns by popular demand to SIFA 2025—this time with a refreshed and upgraded version.
It has also been selected to participate in the prestigious Teresa Pomodoro International Prize for “The Naked Theatre” in Milan, Italy this June.
Synopsis
An old theatre reaches its last performance night.
Two actors—A and O—find themselves sharing the stage.
They bicker,
they compete,
they create,
they wonder,
and they
wait…
and wait,
and wait.
“We exist because they exist.”
“Every play has a beginning / And an end / Life is the same.”
But will the audience ever come?
Playful yet meaningful, Waiting for Audience draws inspiration from physical theatre, clowning, absurdist humour and Chinese crosstalk, and challenges us to rethink the bond between performers and spectators.

在2024年于新加坡国际艺术节（SIFA）首演大受欢迎、座无虚席后，《等待观众》应观众热烈回响，今年强势回归SIFA 2025舞台，带来了内容升级的全新版本。
该剧也荣幸入选了在意大利米兰举办的享有盛誉的“Teresa Pomodoro国际奖—— The Naked Theatre”评选活动，将于今年6月代表新加坡赴欧洲参评。
剧情简介
一座老旧的剧院迎来了它的最后⼀夜。
两个演员，A 和 O，同时出现在舞台。
他们争吵，
他们较量，
他们创作，
他们开始思考，
然后他们
等待…
等待，
再等待。
“我们的存在，是因为他们存在。”
“每场戏都有个开始 / 也有个结束 / 生命也一样。”

这部诙谐又深刻的作品融合形体剧场、小丑元素、荒诞幽默以及传统相声的灵感，挑战观众重新思考演员与观众之间的联系。
