Arts in the Alley

This August as Singapore celebrates 60 years of independence 8M Real Estate invites you to be part of Arts in the Alley: Walks of Life – a two-day festival that transforms Tanjong Pagar’s storied streets into an open-air gallery of living heritage. For one weekend only shophouse corridors and alleyways will become spaces of art performance and memory reimagining the neighbourhood’s past through installations workshops and immersive encounters. 

Arts in the Alley is more than an art festival – it is an invitation to rediscover familiar streets through a different lens. Each installation tells a story of those who once walked these five-foot ways: traders dockworkers artists and dreamers. 

From specially commissioned works by artists such as dao.o Natalia Tan and FACTORY to immersive performances and exclusive bites created by 8M’s tenants this experience brings together heritage creativity and community.
