Under 8's/Junior Athletics Sandy Strait

Our much-loved Under 8’s Day is happening on Wednesday 11th June 2025, and we’ve got a jam-packed morning of fun planned for our Prep to Year 3 students!
🕗 Time: 8:45am–12:30pm
📍 Location: Across the school grounds, including the basketball courts and oval
👕 Dress: Sports house shirts encouraged!
🌟 What’s Happening?
🎨 Hands-on activities: Pet rocks, rainbow crafts, sensory play, bubbles, water fun, fairy bread, obstacle courses, calming corner, veggie stall and much more!
🚓 Special guests: HB Fire Brigade, Police, Bunnings, Fraser Coast Library, and more!
🎽 Junior Sports Morning: From 9am, students will rotate through fun team games and cheer each other on in 100m running races.
💬 A reminder: The day is all about participation, kindness, and FUN – not about ribbons or results. Parents of younger siblings (e.g. KindyLinQ or Playgroup) are responsible for their supervision during the event.
☕ Plus – enjoy a coffee from the Whale Bay Coffee Van while cheering from the sidelines!
