There’s no better way to kick off the heat of August than with some miles, good friends, and an ice-cold reward waiting for you at the end. Even better? Carrying that reward with you the entire time. 😅
On August 2nd we’re bringing back a summer favorite: the Cooler Ruck 5K.
Join us at 8 AM at the Baseline Trailhead in Ocala for a 5K team ruck with one goal — finish sweaty, and finish with cold drinks in hand. You’ll be rucking alongside a full-size, fully-loaded cooler carried by you and your crew.
This isn’t a solo mission! We will be rotating in and out throughout the ruck. If you’re up for carrying the cooler with a partner - awesome. If not, come ruck with us anyway, cheer others on, and be part of the fun. As always there’s a place for everyone.
THE DETAILS:
• 💨 Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)
• 🧊 Cooler Rule: One full-size cooler per 8 participants
• 💪 Carry Teams: Coolers must be a two-person carry, fully packed with ice and hydration (bring something to load into the cooler that we can enjoy at the finish line. 🍻 💧)
• 🎒 Ruck Weight: You choose your own ruck weight on this one.
• 🎖 Patches: If you take a turn holding an end of the cooler and complete the 5k (plus a $5 bill and the cooler ruck patch pictured above will be yours!
