ABOUT THE ARTS SALON
The Arts Salon is exclusively for everyone from along the creative spectrum: artists, writers, filmmakers, musicians, poets and more!
Fiber artists, costume designers, poets, songwriters, photographers, visual artists, filmmakers, tailors, musicians, and other multimedia artists are all welcome!
SSTCi's quarterly Arts Salon is in an inspiring space. It's sharing and performance-oriented. There are four opportunities each year to share your work and get inspired. Don't miss out!
Who: Everyone from along the creative spectrum: writers, artists, musicians, filmmakers, poets, and more!
Where: The Summer Arts Salon will be presented in-person at the Koiner Farm 737 Easley in Downtown Silver Spring.
When: Wednesday, August 6th 6pm-7.30pm
Format: The salon normally features a performance-oriented show-and-tell format, a kind of "open mic" for artists of all disciplines based around the theme of collaboration. Artists are encouraged to bring samples of their work to share.
Host/Facilitator: Filmmaker Yehuda Goldman
Cost: The SSTCi's Arts Salon is FREE and open to everyone along the creative spectrum.
ABOUT OUR HOST
Yehuda Goldman has his hands in everything creative. He draws on his experience of producing, writing, and directing award-winning content from the sea to the sky and to space. He enthusiastically approaches each project with a fresh, curious, and open mind. Yehuda consistently delivers world-class content, photography, videos, scripts, documentaries, digital activations, live events, and immersive experiences — all through maximizing the imaginative strength of client collaboration with seamless teamwork. His diverse career has taken him from producing underwater films with the legendary Jacques Cousteau to filming rocket launches at Cape Canaveral to creating notable television series to interviewing presidents, politicians, Fortune 500 executives, and military heroes. He visualizes and produces high quality media content, provides creative/ production management services, writes compelling scripts. Yehuda is a patient executive media trainer and orals coach for on-camera appearances and public presentations.
Yehuda is a multidisciplinary creative leader and strategic thinker. He is driven to
make ideas better and is passionate about tapping into emotion to bring stories to life.
