This will be my family's third memorial party, BUDDAHPOLOOZA. In honor of Kim Marie Jamison & James "Buddha" Burke. We will provide space for camping: tents/campers, a porta potty for restroom use, and a GOOD TIME!
June, Friday the 27th will be set up day, bring out your tents or campers and set up for the weekend, maybe some pregame.
SATURDAY 28th WILL BE THE RIDE/RALLY. We will be meeting at Deerfield Park in Rifle, Colorado at 9am for the ride! We will leave from Deerfield ride up to Wagon Wheel in Mesa, have a drink or some food. We will leave the Wagon Wheel then stop in Debeque at another bar my brother liked. From there we will then go the back way to Rifle, take the bypass and head towards Rifle gap, riding the lakes. The ride will conclude back in Silt at my uncle's.(off Silt Mesa) That evening we will have bike/viking games!
bike games will include:
barrel racing, keg push, weenie hang, roll the plank and slow race again.
viking games will include:
boulder throw & tug of war.
Possible axe throwing: participants MUST BE SOBER & 18+ possible waiver.
We will have a Playlist for music, but are LOOKING FOR LIVE MUSIC. There will also be a make shift dance floor.
FOOD: Crawfish boil sponsored. POTLUCK style BBQ, pulled pork sandwiches & chilli. If you bring food youl get food. Otherwise it will be $5 PLATES for food.
RAFFLES/SILENT AUCTION: there will be raffle items for all ages along with some bigger silent auction items. ALL of the money from these will go towards the event.
bonfire and 🧨🎇🎆 to conclude Saturday.
SUNDAY 29th We have a WEDDING! planned.
MONDAY 30th will be pack up n clean up day. asking for everyone to clear out by 3pm. please and thank you ❤️
