Three Family Members Killed in Road Accident in Bagdogra

On Sunday evening, three members of a family from MM Tarai village lost their lives in a road accident near Sanyasi Tea Garden, Bagdogra.

The victims — Man Bahadur Tamang, his wife Sushma Tamang, and their younger son Wangdi Tamang — were travelling on a scooty from Naxalbari to Bagdogra when they were hit head-on by a speeding Alto car coming from the opposite direction. All three died on the spot.

The sudden loss has plunged the local community into mourning. Man Bahadur Tamang was known for his kind and helpful nature.

Locals have called for strict action against reckless driving and better enforcement of road safety measures. Save drive save life
