About the event

Take Off with the Wright Brothers (youth ages 5 and up)

On December 17, 1903, Orville and Wilbur Wright successfully completed their first controlled, powered, and sustained flight in Kitty Hawk, NC. We’re commemorating this accomplishment with aviation activities and facts. Learn a little bit about their process and their plane and glider and then try your hand at creating your own aircraft. This library program is for youth ages 5 and up.
