What Will Poor Betsy Do? - The Story of the First Veterans' Home in Oxford

Vicky House, Oxford Historian, will share her research and PowerPoint Presentation on how the WRC (Woman's Relief Corps) Home came into being. The existing facility, the New York State Veterans' Home in Oxford opened 128 years ago and was the first in the state to provide for veteran, his wife, widow, or mother. Come hear about how the site was chosen, who chose it, and see early photos of the facility!!
