SEPTEMBER 6 - Playing Through Our Favourites with Ashley Wey
Join us as we explore musical arrangements and discover invaluable techniques for developing coordination between voice and instrument, plus proven practice methods that will elevate your performance. We'll work through our Top 10 selection together, with personalized tips and insights throughout.
OCTOBER 4 - Singing and Playing: Coordination with Ease with Aaron Watson
Experience the power of collaborative music-making in this circle-format workshop. Aaron will guide participants through developing natural coordination between singing and playing, focusing on finding your flow within a group setting. Perfect for musicians at any skill level looking to build confidence and connection through music.
NOVEMBER 1 - Mastering Your Favourites Q&A Session with Adam Dobres
Bring your questions and dive deep into the craft of musicianship with Adam Dobres. This interactive session focuses on effective memorization techniques, strategic practice methods, and developing a deeper understanding of song structure and performance. We'll continue working with our Top 10 playlist, building on skills from previous workshops.
DECEMBER 6 - Concert Preparation Workshop with Ashley Wey, Bob de Wolff & Special Guest Artist
Polish your performance skills as we prepare our Top 10 favourites for the upcoming year-end showcase. This workshop focuses on stage presence, ensemble playing, and putting the finishing touches on all the techniques learned throughout the series.
DECEMBER 12 - Year-End Celebration & Community Showcase We’ll let you know where it will be soon
Join us for a heartwarming celebration of growth, learning, and community. This intimate showcase (not a formal concert) highlights the journey we've taken together and the musical connections we've built. We're planning this as a special holiday celebration to share our music with Seaside Music Festival volunteers and reflect on the year's musical achievements.
