About the event

Dock Wonders 1/2 Day Camp

New for 2025 — 1/2 Day Camp for 8 - 11 yr olds!

PRIOR REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Campers will explore marine life on and around the docks!

Using observation skills, field guides and a plankton tow, participants will discover birds, mammals and invertebrates (large and microscopic!). Collected plankton samples will be studied under microscopes back at the Centre.

This camp includes a take-home laminated field guide of local species (Retail: $11.00).

This camp does not include exploring time within the Centre.

Campers are required to wear a life jacket while on the docks; life jackets provided but campers are welcome to bring their own.
