Build your own Besom, otherwise known as "broom". The examples shown are both a large whisk size, perfect for sweeping small messes, cleaning cobwebs from corners, or do what I do and hang it on your front door to celebrate the season.
Each participant will receive a broomstick, which they can finish as they like, broomcorn, wire, twine, and other bindings, as well as their choice of decor pieces and charms. A 42" long broom, as shown in the cover photo, is $42 and a full-size broom--approximately 60" or more, is $52.
You will have your choice of going with a round broom--peacock feather broom is an example, or a stitched broom, which is shown with sunflowers. Both examples use the same amount of broomcorn. The stitching is accomplished with a LARGE needle and a bit of hand-strength.
We are accepting 6 students for this Workshop, and if we get full, we will open another date. You may come at any time during our Open Studio Hours, but understand your broom will take 1-2 hours to complete.
