Întunericul are o definiție simplă: lipsa luminii.
La concertul din acest an vrem să aducem lumina, bucuria și speranța în întuneric. Trăim vremuri tulburi, uneori opace, în care avem poate mai mult ca oricând nevoie să ne reamintim că lumina există.
Ea este deja în noi; trebuie doar să o regăsim și să o reaprindem. Iar muzica frumoasă are puterea de a ne ghida spre acest loc interior.
În acest recital vom explora lumina și absența ei, noaptea și strălucirea, liniștea și intensitatea. Veți asculta luna lui Debussy din Clair de lune (Suita bergamască), luna lui Beethoven din celebra sa sonată, fasciculele de lumină din muzica lui Satie și Ravel, și desigur, nelipsit - Chopin!

Durata concertului este de aproximativ 90 de minute, fără pauză.

Darkness has a simple definition: the absence of light.
With this year’s concert, we wish to bring light, joy, and hope into the darkness. We live in turbulent, sometimes opaque times, in which we perhaps need more than ever to remind ourselves that light exists.
It is already within us; we only need to rediscover it and rekindle it. And beautiful music has the power to guide us toward this inner place.
In this recital, we will explore light and its absence, night and radiance, stillness and intensity. You will hear Debussy’s moon from Clair de lune (Suite bergamasque), Beethoven’s moon from his famous sonata, beams of light in the music of Satie and Ravel, and, of course—indispensable—Chopin.
At the piano: Marcel Lazăr.
The concert lasts approximately 90 minutes, without intermission.
