In Celebration of National Poetry Month, Speak Poetry Fest invites you aboard the Poetic Continental Xpress to Xperience an Xtremely Poetic Documentary, VERSIFIED - Rated Poetry. The Documentary is literally absolute "Poetry In Motion." Narrated by Caddo Parish Poet Laureate Poetic X. VERSIFIED Rated Poetry Xplores the Gilgamesh, Tennyson, Edgar Allen Poe, Gwendolyn Brooks, Maya Angelou, Nikki Giovanni, Gil Scot Heron and other poetic voices. The movements of Poetry captured in this documentary is what makes each verse VERSIFIED. Featuring Shreveport Poets ML Dumars, Debra Roberson, Willetta Davis, Detell. The screening will take place in Theater 2, RFC’s 45-seat capacity theater followed by a discussion with Caddo Parish Poet Laureate Poetic X and guests.
