Manchester Shortsville Community Walkathon

We invite you and your family to join us in this commemorative walk that supports so many in our community and honors those we remember every day. We hope you will join us!

9:30 am: Registration at Red Jacket High School

10 am: Walk immediately following along the Manchester Gateway Trail

Started in 1993, the Walkathon initially began to honor three students of the Red Jacket Class of 1994 who were tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident on their way to a girls basketball game. Each year, the walk has grown to include other notable scholarships in honor of students, teachers, and community business members.

The Manchester-Shortsville School District proudly awards more than $30,000 annually in scholarships to graduating seniors — largely in part to proceeds from this walk.
