Join us for a national day of action to respond to the escalating attacks on our civil and human rights by the trump administration.
The civil rights leaders of the past have shown us the power of collective action. That’s why on July 17th, five years since the passing of Congressman John Lewis, Americans across the country will be Making Good Trouble Together.
Right here in Richmond, we’ll be joining 50501 Virginia, the Richmond City Dems and dozens of other partner organizations to assemble an unbroken 3+ mile line of peaceful protest stretching down Monument Avenue from Lombardy to Willow Lawn Drive.
Henrico Dems, along with the Richmond Dems will be co-sponsoring the block between Staples Mill and Westlyn, so grab your spot, bring two friends, and help us show the world that we won’t back down, and we will not be silenced while injustice walks the streets.
Together, we will remind the trump administration, and every enabler who still holds office, that in America, the power lies with the people. We are not spectators to history. We are the makers of it.
With people. With power. With Good Trouble.
