"Spring Fling with The GOMERS!"

So, "WTF IS THE GOMERS?", you ask. Why, it's nothing less than seat of the pants LOTTO BAND MADNESS, co-hosted by (old) man about town Rob Morgan of The Squirrels and E.B. Viars of Foo Gazzi, that's what. In short, it goes like this- you grab your axe, show up, throw your name in the appropriate bucket, and HANG ON! We will have individual buckets marked "Singer", "Guitar", "Bass", "Drums", and "Keys/misc." (sax, etc.). There will be a full backline ready to go, so all you need is your guitar or whatever. We pull one name from each bucket, you guys get up, and BINGO! "Ladies and Gentlemen, THE GOMERS!!!!" What do you play, you ask? Good question. No one knows until it happens! You see, we will actually have one of those spinning Game Show wheels with 12 different musical genres on it- one of which will be "Punk/NewWave", one for "70s Classic Rock", one for "60s Pop", etcetera etcetera. Not really sure what all of the categories will be yet. We may keep changing them as we go! Anyhoo, you guys get up there and make a plan FAST. GO! If you succeed, you get a couple songs! On the other hand, you suck seed, you get GONGED! One way or the other, this always proves to be a hoot and a half (we originally started this up way back in the 90s). All skill levels welcome. Five dollar cover (CHEAP) for both participants and observers. So... WHO'S IN? LET'S HAVE SOME FUCKING FUN, PEOPLE. 😉✊🏻🐿🧷🏴‍☠️🎅🏻❤️🤘🏻👏🏻
