Ropetackle Storytellers: Not Just a Remembering

In the land of Egypt, a grieving goddess creates a ritual to reconnect with her lost husband.

In a perfect ageless garden, time is invented to lessen the pain of mourning.

And in the 1970s, a book of poems eases a father's broken heart.

Storyteller Mary Honeybone blends together three stories of sorrow, memory, and new beginnings, weaving threads from ancient mythology and her own family history. From the epic to the everyday, this show takes a life-affirming look at how we are shaped by love and loss.
