Help! My Dog Stresses in the Ring!

Let’s face it, competition obedience is HARD! We work so hard training our dogs day in and day out preparing them to trial. The day of the trial comes and your dog acts nothing like it does in training. You’re shocked! OR, your dog does something
weird in the ring it has never done before. You’ll hear people say “He never does that in training!” Most often than not, our dogs fail an exercise in the ring or stress in the ring because of stress and pressure, handling errors (us!), the dog lacks confidence,
or the behavior/exercise has not been taught thoroughly enough.
Working teams will have a limited amount of time to work with Laurie to problem solve specific ongoing issues they are experiencing in the ring. Laurie will share her careful insight, tips, strategies, training techniques, answer any questions, and offer demonstration with her own dogs to provide as much information and instruction to all teams participating.
