Rated among the top ranked new age Indian classical tabla (drum) players, Abhishek Basu is a BBC awardwinning internationally celebrated percussion virtuoso. Throughout his extensive tour of the United States, he has performed with living legends like Sangeet Natak Awardee, Sultan of santoor, Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya, classical vocalist Smt.Shubha Guha, and many others. Maestro Basu will be joined by acclaimed sartoor(hammered dulcimer) player Chiradip Sakar whose sweet, soothing, and captivating performances blend creative intelligence with excellent melodies and intricate rhythm. Maestro Chiradip has built a strong reputation through his performances at prestigious venues across India and internationally. He has shared the
stage with legendary tabla maestros such as Pandit Subhankar Banerjee, Pandit Arup Chatterjee, and Pandit Parimal Chakraborty. You can check out their music here and here.
