Superheroes

Superheroes is a free workshop for grieving children aged 5-11 and their caregivers. In this workshop we will focus on helping the children to discover their own "super powers" that they can use to help them through the grieving process. The workshop includes story time, fun physical challenges, arts and crafts, and snack. Each family goes home with a swag bag that includes a copy of the featured book, My Superhero Grandpa by: Michele McAvoy, as well as superhero themed gifts. Important: When sharing information with others about this workshop, please be sure to let them know that the featured book makes references to God and heaven so that they can be prepared to talk with their children about their own families' beliefs about what happens to our loved ones after they die.
