Flower Wet Felting and Free Motion Embroidery

Choose your favourite flower and recreate it in wool and fibres. Upcycle and felting artist will talk you through the process from choosing your materials to wet felting and embellishing your image.

During the morning session you will choose your wools, yarns and fibres to create your images, then with soap and water you will work it to wet felt your piece of art.

Whilst you take a break for lunch*, your picture will be dried ready for the second session of the day.

During the afternoon there be options for you to embellish your picture, both using our sewing machines to free motion embroider as well as needles threads and beads to hand stitch embellishments.

Your completed work will measure approximately 20 x 30cm.

This is a fantastic workshop for people to learn wet felting skills or develop their ideas and techniques in new and exciting ways.

Skill Level: Suitable for beginners

Cost includes all materials required and use of our sewing machines.

*whilst your work is drying we will have an hours break for lunch. You are welcome to bring something with you or there are lots of local cafés and bakeries nearby to visit.
