Dyslexia Awareness Month & 30 Years of DAHK

Come join us for a special event celebrating 30 years of Dyslexia Association of Hong Kong (DAHK) during Dyslexia Awareness Month!

This get together will be held at 3/F the Hive Sheung Wan. Our event is open to all with an interest in or connection to Dyslexia, including parents, educators and professionals.

What to expect on the night:

• Presentation: In honour of Dyslexia Awareness Month, our committee will be sharing an informative presentation. We'll cover what dyslexia is, identification and the impact on the individual, address some myths and misconceptions, and finally share some information around strategies, interventions and how to support those with Dyslexia.
• Networking: A wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow parents, educators, specialists, and individuals within the dyslexia community.
• Refreshments: Enjoy a selection of drinks and light snacks as you mingle.
• Valuable Resources: You will leave with access to a digital resource bank and receive a printed Dyslexia Awareness Poster, perfect for hanging in your school or workplace. There will also be a physical resource display, which is a collection of our committee's tried and tested supports for their students with Dyslexia.
• Have Your Say: We want to hear from you! A request box will be available for you to share your ideas for future events, workshops, and talks.

Tickets are $100. All funds raised from ticket sales are to cover event costs and support the ongoing work of the Dyslexia Association of Hong Kong.
