ARRL Field Day (RAC is a cosponsor) is the most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada. On the fourth weekend of June, more than 31,000 radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups or simply with friends to operate from remote locations.
This year The Northern Alberta Radio Club (TNARC) will be participating from Lakeview Fireplace, near South Cooking Lake, east of Edmonton. The county has given us permission ot use the site overnight and out intent is to operate the full Field Day hours.
We've gotten a bit of a late start and are still getting some things organized. Check this event for updates or find updates on out website at www.tnarc.ca.
We are inviting all amateur radio operators and anyone interested in amateur radio to drop by and get on the air with us.
