Summer Reading Program: Jade Warrick

We are excited to welcome Jade Warrick (she/her), aka Trash Kid, who designs and paints murals in the New York Capital Region. Jade thinks that murals and public art pieces should be more than just visuals; they can tell stories that blend history, personal experiences, and community pride.

Jade will talk about her community mural projects, and then help us paint the trash cans in Gaines Park as well as a partition to be used inside the library. This event will take place inside the United Church of Christ and on the library lawn, weather permitting. All ages are welcome! @trashkid_art
