Registration for the meal opens on the 1st of each month of that
event. We will start accepting reservations on August 1, 2025, starting at 8:00 a.m. for the August 20, 2025 dinner. By clicking on the Facebook event page as "Going", it does not reserve a spot for the meal. Please call on or after August 1st at 715-635-4460. If you make a reservation and cannot attend, please let us know; we have a waitlist every year.

The meal is from 4:30-5:30 p.m. as part of the WI Elder Nutrition Program.
~ Those eligible to participate on a contribution basis include anyone age sixty and older.
Suggested contribution is $8-$10 per meal.
~ Individuals under the age of sixty are welcome, but must pay the full meal cost of $15 to participate.
*Caregivers Under Age 60 – Please get in touch with the Nutrition Program Director at 715-635-4460.
No eligible participant age 60+ will be denied a meal based on their ability to contribute to the cost of the meal.
This year, we have an added special treat. The Spooner Seniors will be bringing out their new portable Mocktail Bar. If you have not experienced these delicious beverages, you will not be
disappointed.
Following the meal, Sean & Ian Okamoto will provide a live concert from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Make sure to wear those dancing shoes to try out on the portable dance floor. We invite the entire community to join us at no charge.
Donations are accepted at the ADRC table to defer costs of the event and the bands will accept tips for their performance on the bandstand.
Known as the “Summer Social Dinner & Concert Series”, people can eat inside the Shell Lake Community Center, under one of the provided large tents, or bring your own lawn chair/blanket.
The ADRC invites non-profit local and state agencies to have free outreach tables benefiting the 50+ population, caregivers, and people with disabilities. (Please register with our office by calling 715-635-4460.) You will need to bring your own tables.
This is a very special night, since we will be celebrating our great volunteers, who are the HEART of our nutrition program.
Transportation is available for Washburn County residents age 60+ and their caregivers. Please contact Amber Anderson, ADRC Washburn County Transit Coordinator, at 715-635-4465.
