Women's Forest Management and Tree Care Field Walk at Meach Cove Farms

Women & Our Woods Vermont invites you to join us at Meach Cove Farms for a field walk around the forestry and tree care operations on site. The group will share about invasive species management, roadside ash tree management, single tree and small group selection timber harvest, and the Use Value Appraisal Program. Led by host Lynn Wolfe (Meach Cove Farms) and supported by Joanne Garton (VT Urban & Community Forestry Program), Rachel Swanwick (Forests Guild), and Lisa Sausville (Vermont Coverts) of the Women & Our Woods Steering Committee. Open to all, focused on women-identifying landowners, land managers, and woodland enthusiasts.
