War is Over - Swing-Era Dinner Dance

80 years ago this month, World War II ended. Your Osprey Arts Centre and The Shelburne Historical Society are marking this milestone with a dinner dance - recreating the celebrations that ensued in the months that followed, including at RCN navy base, HMCS Shelburne. A period-era meal (with some modern trappings) will be followed by a swing dance, guided by a team of accomplished swing dancers. Don't wanna dress in period clothing and dance? You don't have to. Just take a few steps back in time and enjoy some delicious food and fellowship with your friends and neighbours.
