High Ledges Natural & Cultural History Hike

Located in the town of Shelburne, High Ledges contains over 800 acres of northern hardwood forests, wetlands, fields, and ledge outcrops, with spectacular views of the Deerfield River Valley, Mt. Greylock, and even southern Vermont on clear days. The property is also home to many species of birds and wildlife, including black bear, fisher, and bobcat. With its rich cultural history, we can also see remnants of the past in the sanctuary's landscape.
