Total Communication

Total Communication is a 1/2-day course that looks at how we communicate. We learn core vocabulary from Makaton signs stages 1-4 and some topic vocabulary important in school settings.

The training covers both Widgit and Makaton symbols/pictures to speak. We also look at eye gaze technology and a brief look into Aids and other Apps used for communication.

Please note: this is not a Makaton accredited course. Total Communication is a shorter course that incorporates some key Makaton signs alongside some other communication approaches.
