Sonido Polifonico presents Folklore Tapes at Bishops' House, Sheffield

‘Running parallel with releasing a wide range of records and tapes…the folklore Tapes collective have been crafting immersive audio visual live performances for almost 15 years. David Chatton Barker and Sam McLoughlin (along with a host of guests) have produced many bespoke shows, incorporating their home-made instruments, modified analogue projectors, shadow play and automation. This new performance follows on from their 2024 Bishops House show ‘Apotropaic’ (which explored the protective symbols found in BH) and will not be one to miss!
