Memory as Portal: A Collage & Vision Board Workshop

As part of the Sanctum exhibition at the Tennessee Valley Art Museum, focusing on mental health, Maria Diz will be leading a creative workshop that invites participants to explore how memory shapes the stories we carry, and the ones we are still writing.

In this session, we’ll use collage and vision boarding as tools for reflection, imagination, and healing. By layering images, textures, and words, each artist will create a personal piece of art that becomes both a mirror of their past and a map toward their future.

This workshop is open to all, no art experience needed. Come as you are, bring your curiosity, and leave with a meaningful work of art that speaks to your own journey of growth.
