PLEASE NOTE THAT, FROM NOW ON, THE UNIVERSITY ARMS WILL BE CLOSING AT 10PM ON MONDAYS. AS A RESULT OF THIS THE MUSIC WILL START AT 7:45 – ON THE DOT. THE MUSIC WILL FINISH AT AROUND 9:30. THERE WILL BE (AT LEAST) 2 SETS OF BETWEEN 30 AND 45 MINUTES AS USUAL.

Duo Fecund Mulch (Henry McPherson and Joe Brookes) blend folk, early music, free and experimental influences into a rich humus of expressive textures. This September, joined by percussionist Colin Frank, they will present a set of improvised miniatures showcasing music out of time, paleolithic yearning, scrunches and screeches, warbling birds, deep resonant guitars, textures of bracken, acoustic granularity, and improvised ritual fragments.
