Kothenbeutel Heritage Prairie Workday

Join Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation’s Land Ambassadors to harvest seeds and help expand and diversify the native prairie! Kothenbeutel Heritage Prairie is a 40-acre native prairie preserve approximately twenty miles south of Mason City. Featuring over 200 plant species and a diverse array of wildlife, it provides a glimpse of what much of Iowa's landscape was once like.

This event is led by INHF Land Ambassadors — passionate volunteers committed to preserving the health of INHF properties in their communities.
