Dancing in the City in collaboration with Let's Dance Sheffield invites you to an in-person Ecstatic Dance session with Reya 7:30pm - 9:30pm on Friday 26th September at The Pavilion in Hillsborough Park, Sheffield S6 4HD.
Cash payment on the door preferred: £9, £11 (unwaged, waged).
You can pay Dancing in the City by BACS transfer but please pay either beforehand or when you arrive. Please write in the Sign-In book that you've paid by BACS and use your name as a reference when you make the payment so we know who has paid. I'm really looking forward to being back with you all in the Pavillion on Friday! If you haven't joined me for an Ecstatic Dance before, it's an unfacilitated dance journey to help you drop out of your mind and land deeply into your body, responding with compassionate curiosity to whatever arises. In Ecstatic Dance, we let the music rather than words guide us - trusting our body's innate wisdom to lead us where we need to go. Together we'll travel together on a musical carpet ride of sounds and beats from around the world!
The theme for this Friday's Ecstatic Dance is 'Balance'. Having just passed through the doorway of the Autumn Equinox, it's a great time to reflect on where we might need to bring a bit more balance into our lives, as well as celebrating the balance we have already cultivated!

Getting to The Pavilion in Hillsborough Park
Use the park entrance opposite Tanzone on Middlewood Road. Access to The Pavilion is through the large metal gates in the high fence protecting the bowling greens.
