Connecting with Cotton: Pt. 1 - Growing with Cotton

Join us for the opening installment of our Connecting with Cotton series for a collective experience of connecting with cotton through sensory based exploration, reflective storytelling, and agricultural skill sharing.

During our time together attendees will have space to (re)connect with and deepen their relationship to cotton via hands-on activities and plant stewardship demos (+ get seeds & mature seedlings to take home).

Connecting with Cotton is a collaborative series by and via CURE. Part 2 will occur in Brooklyn NY on September 27th, 2025.

CURE (Cultivating Understanding and Restoring the Earth) is a Mumbet’s Freedom Farm series intending to nourish and center the experiences of those who identify as Black, Indigenous, and anyone with an inherited history of colonization in the Americas.
