About the location:
The loopy one. Explore several ancient woodlands above the River Sheaf, and maybe have a paddle in the river too. Not really one lap, not really two laps, but you’ll probably see deer, maybe herons, possibly bluebells, and you’ll have more uphills and downhills than you were expecting (unless you’ve done it before).

Registration will be on Bradway Recreation Ground, behind Sainsbury’s (S17 4QW) on Bradway Road.

How to get there:
Buses 24 or 76 from the city centre will get you to Bradway Road. If choosing to drive, please car share where possible. Parking is mostly on residential streets so please park responsibly.
Terrain/Route:
Starting on the grass of Bradway Recreation Ground, you will then drop down onto a wooded trail and out onto Beauchief Drive, and down towards the golf course. Turning left, you will then cross the golf course, sticking to the public right of way, before heading into Lady Springs Wood, going all the way down to the river. You will do 1 big lap, and 1 little lap in the woods, before heading back towards the golf course. Completing a lap around the allotments, and then back up Beauchief Drive, for another loop in Old Park Wood, before heading back to the start. You will recognise some of the route from RSR, and you will feel like you are lost for some of it, but don’t worry, it will be well marked and marshalled.
