Sheffield Jewellery, and Silversmithing Employers Networking Event

The Goldsmiths' Foundation and Aston University Goldsmiths Institute warmly welcome you to the Sheffield Jewellery, and Silversmithing Employers Networking Event!

Join us at Yorkshire Artspace, Persistence Works and UTC Sheffield City Centre for a key opportunity for employers, industry, designer makers and educators connected to Jewellery, Silversmithing and allied trades in and around Sheffield.

In 2022, similar employer events were held in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter to discuss the increasing skills gap between education and our specialist industry. Employers were seeking better talent pipelines from schools and colleges into apprenticeships and employment. The outcome was the formation of the new Aston University Goldsmiths Institute in Birmingham.

On the 14th October we will be considering the similar skills challenges and opportunities in Sheffield and we would be delighted for you to join this Inaugural meeting to share your views and ideas for our sector.

The event starts at the Yorkshire Artspace, Persistence Works and concludes at the adjacent UTC Sheffield City Centre.
