August's theme is “Quick Breads.”
We all know and love banana bread, zucchini bread, and cinnamon swirl bread, but quick breads also include muffins, biscuits, scones, and cornbread.
Bring a ready-to-eat sampling of your favorite sweet or savory (non-yeast) bread and a copy of the recipe to share.
Taste This!:
One of our members will bring an oddity (or food not in the mainstream) that we can taste.
This month is Lychee. Try before you buy.
The great debate:
Oils. Blind “taste-testing” of different oils this month.
We'll sample the dishes, share recipes, chat, and connect over food.
For adults, ages 18 and older.
*We won't be cooking at the library, so please bring your dish already prepared and at temperature as we have limited electrical resources.
