日本的櫻花妍麗多姿，每年春天盛放的美景，已然成為日本的象徵。然而，櫻花的花期短暫，雖然其絢麗只如曇花一現，卻在那瞬息之間展現出最迷人的姿態，留下難以磨滅的印象。正如生活一般，每段相遇、每個故事、每次經歷都為我們留下珍貴的足跡，繪出如櫻花般美麗的人生畫卷。
這場音樂會籌備多年，始終缺少一個契機。近兩年來，我走遍世界，帶著閱歷、見識和人脈回到香港，並在好友的支持下，終於實現了這一夢想。當晚，我將為大家呈獻十多首在香港首次公開演出的日本作品，其中不乏充滿詩情畫意的小品、輕快的輕爵士樂和扣人心弦的室內樂作品。許多樂曲與我近年的經歷息息相關，希望能透過音樂與各位分享這些故事與情感。
我非常榮幸邀請到三位重要的音樂夥伴與我同台演出。首先是我在英國留學期間深受照顧的中學師姐張碧瑩小姐，她將擔任鋼琴合奏。還有我在香港中文大學的單簧管夥伴陳家熙先生，最後是讓我學會如何享受音樂的謝竣宇先生，擔任敲擊，與我一同奏出美妙的《櫻色人生》。
The cherry blossoms in Japan are beautiful and vibrant, and their stunning display in spring has become a symbol of the country. However, the blooming period of cherry blossoms is fleeting; despite their beauty being ephemeral, they reveal their most enchanting form in that brief instant, leaving an indelible impression. Life is similar that each encounter, each story, and each experience leaves us with precious memories, painting a beautiful tapestry of life akin to the cherry blossoms.
This concert has been years in the making, waiting for the right opportunity to come to fruition. Over the past two years, I have travelled the world, returning to Hong Kong enriched with experiences, insights, and connections. With the support of friends, I have finally brought this dream to life. That evening, I will premiere more than ten Japanese works in Hong Kong, featuring poetic pieces, lively light jazz, and sentimental chamber music. Many of these pieces are closely related to my recent experiences, and I hope to share these stories and emotions through music to all of you.
I am honored to invite three important musical partners joining me on stage. First is my high school senior, Tina Cheung, who took great care of me during my studies in the UK; she will be playing the piano. Next is my clarinet partner, Ka-hei Chan, from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Finally, Felix Tse, who taught me how to truly enjoy music, will be playing the percussion. Together, we will present you the “Cherry Blossom of Life“.
